Summary

On November 22, 2016, President Barack Obama commuted the sentence of Timothy Johnson, who had been convicted in the District of South Carolina in 2006 of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute cocaine base, possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, and using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime. Johnson's original sentence of 180 months imprisonment and 60 months supervised release was reduced through the commutation.
