Kenneth Wayne Gragg received a commutation of sentence on January 17, 2017, from President Barack Obama for drug trafficking and firearms offenses committed in the Western District of North Carolina. Gragg had been convicted in 2007 of two counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime, and was sentenced to 300 months imprisonment followed by 120 months of supervised release.
