Summary

Dexter Lanoyd Dickens was convicted in federal district court of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of a mixture or substance containing cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(A)(ii), and 846; four counts of distribution of a mixture or substance containing cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(C), and 860; being a principal to distribution and possession with intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and (b)(1)(C) and 18 U.S.C. § 2; distribution and possession with intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(C), and 860; and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(B)(ii). On March 30, 2016, President Barack Obama granted Dickens a commutation of sentence.
