Everett Gale Dague was convicted in federal court of conspiracy to obstruct commerce by extortion, extortion, demanding or receiving illegal payments on behalf of a labor union, and demanding or accepting illegal unloading fees from a motor vehicle driver, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2 and 1951 and 29 U.S.C. §§ 186(b)(1) and (2). On March 15, 2000, President Bill Clinton granted Dague a full pardon.
